Seedlings are between 50 to 70 cm
(measured without the root ball ).
Cedar is characterized by rapid growth (unshaped specimens of 10 -
year reach 3.5 - 4m height., width of about 1 m.) The annual growth of
5-6 year Thuja is even 50cm. They have a green color, columnar habit.
Very nice look in a double row forming thick green fence (density
planting 60 cm) plants growing one, should be pruned once a year.
This Cedar withstands our winters. Thuja Smaragd (Thuja emerald)
is the most popular species for hedges.
The trees are dug from the ground on the day
